Ingredients

  • 200 gmbutton mushrooms
  • 2onion chopped
  • 2 tspchopped garlic
  • 1 tspchopped ginger
  • 2green chilli chopped
  • 4tomatoes chopped
  • 10cashews nuts
  • 1black large cardamom
  • 2green small cardamoms
  • 1" cinnamon stick
  • 4cloves
  • 8black peppers
  • 1 tspbutter
  • Fry all the above ingredients in butter for 2 minutes and make a paste after cooling
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 tspKashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspPav Bhaji masala
  • 1 tspcrushed Kasoori methi
  • 1 tsptomato sauce
  • 1/3 tspred chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tspsugar
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 tbspbutter

    Wash and clean the mushrooms. Cut into half the large ones.

    Saute them in 1 tsp butter for 1 minute. Don't throw the water released. It can be used in making curry.

  3. 3

    In a wok heat rest of the butter. Splutter the cumin seeds.

  4. 4

    Add the ground masala and cook in medium flame till the butter separates.

  5. 5

    Mix rest ingredients like dry masalas and sauces and sauted mushroom with water.

  6. 6

    Cook for 2 minutes. Adjust the salt.

  7. 7

    Garnish with chopped Almonds and serve hot the restaurant style Mushroom Makhani.
