Ingredients

  • 3 tinswheat flour
  • 4 tbspsugar
  • 1 pinchelchi
  • 1 tspfull yeast
  • Coconut milk to make dough
  • 1 serving spoonoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients in bowl and then knead dough with the coconut milk to a medium soft dough.Set to rise for 2 hours

    Knead again the risen dough and make balls.Roll each ball and cut into 4.Heat the oil and on medium hot oil fry.

    Give the colour you desire.For me,I love it golden brown and not dark brown.Mandazi stay softer for long when not over fried and when made using coconut milk
