Steps
- 1
Wash the chicken breast thoroughly and let it drain. Then, use kitchen scissors to cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Pour enough oil into the pot to cover the bottom. In a food processor, blend the garlic and onion, then add them to the pot where the oil is already heated. Add the allspice, paprika, cinnamon, and curry powder. Sauté and add the chicken, searing it well to absorb the flavors. Next, add the diced tomatoes, stir, add the water, and let it cook for about 20 minutes, depending on your stove, but keep an eye on it.
- 3
Finally, add the salt and orzo, stir well, and let it sit on the heat for five minutes. Remove from heat, cover with a lid, and it's ready. Note that you can add water according to your preference; for example, I like it thick rather than soupy. This is your choice. Good luck and enjoy your meal!
