Take a mixing bowl, add Semolina, refined flour, chopped onion, salt to taste and mix all the ingredients with whisk nicely.

Add 3 cup of water and whisk gently and make sure that there are no lumps at all. Your batter for rava dosa is ready. The batter should be flowing and thin.

Let the dosa batter rest for 20 to 30 minutes. Once the batter rests you will see that the rava and flour will settle down and the water will float on top.

Before preparing the dosas, mix the batter very well. Now heat the dosa pan at medium flame. When the pan is heated pour the dosa batter evenly also Pour 1 tsp of oil evenly.

Lower the flame and cook the dosa till it turns crisps and brown.

Serve the crispy rava dosa with tomato chutney.
