Steps

Start by steaming the spinach and ugu leaves in a steaming pot for 15mins.drain and set aside.

Add oil in a large pot and heat.add sliced onions, cloves and cardamon pods.stir fry for 5mins.

Add crushed pepper,ginger and garlic pastes and stir fry for 3 mins. Add the carrot, peas and green beans and stir fry for 7mins or there about to make them soft. Add the maggi,salt, curry,thyme and rice spice. Stir well to combine.

Reduce heat to medium and gradually stir in the rice. Mix to combine then add the steamed spinach and ugu leaves. Stir well for 3mins and cover for 3mins to simmer,on low heat. Remove from heat and serve. I garnished with cucumber slices and fried meat. Enjoy!
