Heat a pan, dry roast peanuts for 4 -5 minutes in medium heat.

Cool and remove skin. Grind to a coarse powder.

Grease a plate or tray with ghee or oil and keep aside.

Cook sugar with ½ cup of water to get a syrup of two -thread consistency.

Add ground peanut and cook till the mixture become thick. Stirring continuously.

Switch off the flame and add cardomom powder. Mix it well.

Spread onto the greased plate or tray and smoothen the surface.

When slightly cooled, cut into square and serve.
