Gently heat the oil in frying pan add onions,chilli and garlic and fry while stirring till golden yellow.Add the lardons and cook until golden.

Add tomato puree and chopped tomatoes in a frying pan and simmer for 15 mins until sauce has thickened a little season to taste.

While the sauce is cooking,cook the pasta in large sauce pan boil,season and drain and refreshen drizzle it with oil and correct season.

Add the basil to the sauce.mix in the drained pasta serve with shaving of parmesan.
