Ingredients

  • 5tomatoes
  • 3onions
  • 1peeled cucumber
  • to tasteSalt
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the onions into slices and soak in salty water for 5 minutes. Drain the water and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cut both the cucumber and tomatoes into slices and mix with the onion slices. Add salt and lemon juice and the kachumbari is ready serve with pilau.
