Marinate the fish with salt n turmeric powder after cutting it into cubes.leave for 7 minutes.put a pot on fire,put the fried onion n on top add in 4 cups of water.put salt to taste n turmeric powder again as per the preference of colour n taste

Let it boil.add in the soaked and washed rice,mix well.now let it cook,before the rice is fully cooked,add in the fish PCs and let it cook too.simmer for few minutes on low heat when water is seeming to dry.switch off and let the rice set for 5 mins.now serve with kachumbari
