I wanted to avoid Maida and use ingredients that would be healthy - hence I flipped the Maida with Singhada atta (water chestnuts flour)

Ingredients

  1. 100 gmsRawa
  2. 25 gmsSingada atta
  3. 100 mlCurd
  4. 100 mlMilk
  5. 1 tspVanilla essence
  6. 50 gmsButter
  7. 200 gmsCondensed milk

Cooking Instructions

    Put Rawa, singada atta, milk and cure together and set aside for 30 mins.

    Beat the codensee milk and butter together till smooth.

  3. 3

    Add 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda to the Rawa mixture.

    Combine both mixtures and bake at 180degrees for 35-45 mins.

  5. 5

    Check if the knife comes clean - the cake is done. Do not over cook or over bake as this will make it chewy!
