Heat oil in the cooker and add khada masalas & sauté well. Add hing & sauté. Take a kadhai sauté potatoes with oil until golden.

Add onions, saute then add green chillies and Add ginger garlic paste & sauté. Sauté the onion until brownish pink.

Then add tomoatoes, sauté & add dry masalas & salt, sauté until the tomatoes are completely mashed. Cook with closed lid.

Add biryani masala & add potatoes, carrot, mix well. Add coriander leaves & pudina leaves& saute well off the flame.

Once the vegetables are cooled, add dahi & mix well. On the flame & simmer for 5 mins on low flame.

After 5 mins add rice & mix well. Pour hot water, add salt to taste & close the cooker lid for 1 whistle.

After 1 whistle, low the flame & simmer for 2 mins.

Take off the pressure & your dum aloo biryani is ready to be served. Garnish with coriander & serve with raita.
