Steps

Soak Samak in water for 45 minutes. Drain excess water and keep it aside

Boil milk in deep bottom pan
- 3
Add samak and mix well. Cook over low – medium heat until samak softens (approx 18 minutes). Do stir in between while Samak is cooking

Add sugar and mix well. Keep stirring until sugar is dissolved. Do keep scraping the sides while stirring
- 5
Add saffron, cardamom powder and rose water. Mix well. If serving warm, cook until milk thickens. If serving cold, then cook only until milk starts thickening

Finally add cashew nuts and raisins. Mix well.Serve warm or cold as desired
