Wash Chana Dal. Add dal, salt and water in pressure cooker. Cover the lid and cook until 4-5 whistles. Once steam releases open the lid and drain excess water. Keep 2 tsp dal a side.

Mash dal with masher and add all ingredients except oil. Mix all properly. Taste the seasonings. Adjust as per your taste. Add chana dal (which we kept aside) in batter.

Heat appe pan. Drizzle some oil in each pit. Pour batter in each pit. Cook it until golden brown. Cover the lid. After 3-4 minutes Flip it's side.

Cook bottom side until golden on slow flame.

Once cooked transfer in dish. Serve with curd dip.

For dip: take 1/2 cup hung curd, 2 tsp mayonnaise sauce, piri piri masala, 1/2 tsp mint powder oregano, chill flakes and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
