Ingredients

  1. 7eggs separated
  2. 1 cupplain flour
  3. 1 cupsugar
  4. 1 teaspoonvanilla essence
  5. 1 packstrawberries
  6. 1 cupwhipping cream
  7. 1/5 cupsugar
  8. White chocolate
  9. 1/2 cupwater
  10. Grease proof paper

Cooking Instructions

    Assemble all ingredients

    Grease tins and preheat oven. Whip the egg whites until almost stiff. Add the eggs one at a time, add the sugar sparingly while whisking in moderate speed.

    Add the flour, while folding gently.

    Divide into two pans and bake at 180°c, for 45mins or until a skewer comes out clean.

    Meanwhile, melt the chocolate, cut grease proof paper into strips and spread chocolate on each, dip the strawberries in the chocolate.

    Whip the cream until stiff.

    Make the strawberry syrup with the water and sugar. When cool apply on to the cooled cakes

    Add some chocolate dollops, whipped cream and place the other piece on top. Apply cream.

    Peel the chocolate from the paper gently and arrange vertically on the side of the cake, place the strawberries on top.

    Add some chocolate shavings on top

    Serve!
