I had two fully ripe bananas. I thought to try banana Halwa dish. With minimum ingredients, this Halwa can be prepared in less time. The banana halwa is soft , delicious and with sweet aroma.

Ingredients

12-15 mins
2-3 servings
  1. 2ripe bananas
  2. 1tbsp(2 tsp+1 tsp) desi ghee
  3. 1/3 cupbrown sugar
  4. 1/2+ 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  5. 1 tspchopped almonds
  6. As required Fried Cashews to garnish

Cooking Instructions

    After peeling off the skin of the bananas slice them with the help of a knife. In a bowl mash them with the help of a fork.
    Heat ghee in a pan and add the mashed bananas and cook for 3 minutes in low medium flame. Add brown sugar, desiccated coconut and cardamom powder and keep stirring well.

    Stop stirring when the cooked bananas gather like a dough. Switch off the gas and grease a plate with ghee.
    Add mold on the greased plate and pour the halwa. Garnish with fried cashew nuts and leave the halwa to cool down.

    When cooled demold the halwa and garnish with rest of fried cashew nuts and serve.
