Ingredients

  1. As needed Idli (I already posted, so I will share link)
  2. as needed Peanut chutney (I already posted, so I will share link)
  3. For Tomato Khara Chutney
  4. 3big tomatoes chopped (make sure they are properly red & tangy)
  5. 2medium size onion chopped
  6. 10-12garlic cloves
  7. 10-12curry leaves
  8. 1 tspjeera
  9. 1 tspmustard seeds
  10. 5-6black pepper
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Sugar as per taste (optional)
  13. to tasteDry red chilli
  14. 1 tspoil
  15. Chutney tadka
  16. Few drops of oil
  17. 5-6curry leaves
  18. 1/4 tspmustard seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Let's start Tomato khara chutney. Firstly dry roast red chili 🌶,till it becomes crispy, now keep it aside.

    In pan heat oil, add jeera, mustard seeds wait for 2-3 second, now add curry patta, garlic cloves and onion. Fry for 2 minutes.

    Now add tomato, black pepper, salt & sugar (optional). Fry till it becomes soft.

    Next let it cool down, then in grinding jar add dry roasted chilli and fried onion tomatoes. Grind it coarsely. Take out in bowl.

    Now for tadka take another pan, add few drops of oil, heat it. Add mustard seed let them crackle, now add curry patta and put this tadka in chutney. Your tangy khara chutney is ready. Enjoy!!!!
