Cooking Instructions

First peel your potatoes and wash them very well and cut them to your desired shape. (You can also not peel them and clean the potatoes the boil them, you will remove the peels afterwards)

Boil the potatoes with some pinch of salt but don't boil them much since you will deep fry them.

Once done,drain the excess water and cool them off with running water then set them aside.

In a bowl, add the flour +salt+egg yellow +dhania leaves+ ginger and garlic paste, mix them, add water bit by bit in order not to get a runny constistency.

As you are mixing the flour paste, ensure that a sufuria or whatever you use for deep frying is with oil and it is getting heated.

Add the potatoes, bit by bit and start deep frying them.

Once they are ready, serve with either salads, guacamole, mchuzi, beef stew or with another dish of your choice.
