Ingredients

  1. 1medium sized fresh beet root
  2. 1/2 cuprefined oil
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 2 tbspfresh curd
  5. 2 tbspcondensed milk
  6. 1egg
  7. 1 tspvanilla essence
  8. 1 cupmaida or all-purpose flour
  9. 1 tspbaking powder
  10. 1tsp.Watermelon seeds for decorating

Cooking Instructions

    Wash. Peel and cut beetroot into small pieces.

    Transfer pieces in a mixer jar

  3. 3

    Add oil, sugar, curd, egg, condensed milk, and vanilla essence in the mixer jar.

    Blend and make a smooth paste.

    Now transfer it to a mixing bowl
    Sieve maida and baking powder in it

    Mix well do not over mix

    Transfer cake batter to a pre-greased baking tin. place butter paper in the tin...I used a square 8-inch baking tin. sprinkle watermelon seed to decorate or you can use any nuts of yr choice.

    Keep it in preheated oven at 180 degrees Celcius for 40 to 45 minutes.

    Before taking out the cake from oven check with a toothpick.if it is clear it means it is done. demould it after cooling down completely. enjoy with evening tea.
