Ingredients

  1. 1 cupRaw peanuts
  2. 1cucumber finely chopped
  3. 1onion finely chopped
  4. 2tomatoes finely chopped
  5. as required fresh coriander chopped
  6. as per taste Salt
  7. 1/4 tspblack salt or to taste
  8. 1/4 tspblack pepper powder
  9. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tsproasted cumin powder
  11. 1/4 tspchat masala
  12. 1/2lemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    First soak the peanuts in a deep bowl for about an hour. Add soaked peanuts in pressure cooker along with as required water, salt and cook for 3 - 4 whistle. Strain with strainer and keep aside to cool completely.

    Next add boiled peanuts in a mixing bowl. Add finely chopped cucumber, tomatoes, onion, coriander, salt, black salt, black pepper powder, chilli powder, chat masala and roasted cumin powder. Squeeze lemon juice and mix everything well.

    Peanut Bhel is ready to serve, garnish with some sev - bhujiya or mixture as per choice and serve immediately.

    You can also add green coriander-mint chutney and sweet-tamarind chutney to enhance the taste. (If you like)
