Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupBasmati Rice
  2. 3tomatoes
  3. 4-5cashewnuts
  4. 1 tbspghee
  5. 1 "cinnamon stick
  6. 1/2 tsp.Cumin seeds
  7. 1bay leaf
  8. 2cardamoms
  9. 2-3cloves
  10. 6-7black pepper
  11. 1 tbsp.coriander leaves ,chopped
  12. 1/2 tsp.Garam masala
  13. as requiredCoriander tomato piece cashewnuts for garnishing

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak rice for 1/2 hour. Chop 1 tomato. Churn 2 tomatoes.

    Heat ghee in a big vessel. Crackle cumin seeds cinnamon stick open and add cardamom bay leaf cloves black pepper n few curry leaves. Saute for a min. Meanwhile, boil 50%rice on another flame.

    Now add tomato pulp in tadka and saute. Add 1/4 cup water in a tomato mixture and stir cook for 5min. On med. flame. Now add rice in a tomato mixture add salt and stir once. Now cook on slow flame. Lastly, add garam masala1tomato pieces and roasted cashewnuts. And mix it well bhi. Softly.

    Delicious Tomato Rice is ready to Serve. Garnish with coriander cashewnuts curry leaves and tomato pieces.
