Ingredients

  1. 1 cupFried gram dal powder
  2. 1 cupRice flour
  3. 1/2 cupBesan
  4. 1 tbsButter or vanaspathi
  5. 1/4 tspSoda bi carbonate
  6. As per taste Salt
  7. As required Onion 1big (thinly sliced)
  8. 1green chilli (finely chopped)
  9. 1 small pieceGinger (scraped)
  10. 1/2 cupCashewnut chopped
  11. As requiredOil for fry

Cooking Instructions

    In a small cup add butter and soda bicarbonate, mix thoroughly with your fingers until becomes white.

    Add all the flour to a bowl, add mixed butter salt and combine well.

    Add chopped onion, green chili, ginger, cashew nut, mix with hand,

    Add water little by little and mix everything and form a dough.

    Make balls, ( make sure the ball is not packed harder, keep it soft and loose, to get uniform cooking.

    Keep a deep pan, add enough oil for deep fry.

  7. 7

    Add the balls by batch and in medium-low flame until golden brown).

  8. 8

    Serve with coconut chutney with evening tea.
