Drunken 🥴 Bbq Smoked Sausage

Ingredients

  1. 2 packs (14 ounce)smoked sausage
  2. 1 stickbutter OR margarine
  3. 2onions, sliced
  4. 1red pepper, sliced
  5. 10 clovesgarlic, minced
  6. 1/8 teaspoonblack pepper
  7. 1/8 teaspooncrushed red pepper
  8. 1 poundbaby red potatoes
  9. 1 bottlebeer (your favorite flavor/ brand)
  10. 2 cupsbbq sauce (your favorite flavor/ brand)
  11. Hot dog buns

Cooking Instructions

    Cut your smoke sausage into coins, set to the side..……

  2. 2

    In a large pot heat your butter OR margarine until melted ……

  3. 3

    Add into melted butter OR margarine your cut up smoked sausage, sauté lightly for several minutes or until sausage is lightly browned……

  4. 4

    Next add into pot your sliced onions, red pepper and minced garlic, sauté for several minutes then add in your black pepper and crushed red pepper, keep sautéing until veggies are tender……..

    Add in your baby red potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally…….

    Add in your favorite beer, bring all to a boil and continue to stir gently, then reduce heat to medium / high and cook until beer has been reduced by about half …….Cook for about 20 minutes…….

    Add in your bbq sauce and cook until veggies and potatoes are tender and completely coated with the bbq sauce, stirring occasionally…….cook until sauce has thickened ……..

    Serve on top of hot dog buns and enjoy 😉!!!! This dish is very saucy so you can dip some hot dog bread into the extra sauce or serve on top of cooked pasta, your choice ! 🙂
