Ingredients

  1. 1 /4 cup chana dal
  2. 1small peele chopped lauki
  3. 1chopped onion
  4. 2chopped tomatoes
  5. as required desi ghee
  6. As per taste salt
  7. 2 tsp green chilli and ginger paste
  8. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1 tspcoriander powder
  12. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  13. as required water
  14. as neededFresh coriander leaf not compulsory

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse and soak chana dal for at least 45 minutes to 1 hour drain the chana dal and keep it separate

  2. 2

    Take a pressure cooker add chana dal lauki salt and turmeric powder and required water cover with the lid and pressure cook for about 5-6 whistle on a medium flame

    Take up a pan add deshi ghee when ghee hot then add cumin seeds and garlic chilli paste now we add the onion and roast in brown colour

    Now add finally chopped tomatoes add all the dry spices red chilli powder garam masala powder coriander powder roast till the tomato softed

    Add this gravy in the the cooked daal and cook 5 minutes more

    Now your lauki chana dal is ready serve with chapati
