Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200C and line a tray with baking paper

In a saucepan melt bring together water, sugar, salt and butter and bring to a simmer

Whisk in the flour until you have no lumps and a dough ball has formed

Turn down the heat and continue to cook for one minute

Set aside to cool then slowly add your eggs and vanilla, stirring until well incorporated

Transfer your dough to a piping bag with a star nozzle and then pipe churros onto lined tray

Sprinkle the baking paper with a few drops of water to create steam in the oven then bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown, turn off the oven and leave in to dry out

Take the churros from the oven and roll them in a mixture of sugar, cinnamon and salt
