Candied Amanatsu Citrus Peel Candied Amanatsu Citrus Peel
Amanatsu peels are so pretty, so I thought I'd try making my own candied peel with it. I wasn't too precise cutting up the peel, so this may not be very professional, but I had great fun making it.It's really important to remove all of the white pith from the peel, otherwise your candied peels will be bitter. Leave the peel to dry completely in Step 5 is also very important, otherwise it will just absorb the dredging sugar and become soggy. You can make this recipe with any citrus fruit. However, grapefruits have a very distinctive bitter taste so it may not work well. Recipe by mashiho cookpad.japan -

Orange Cake with Orange Glaze and a Special Citrus Twist! Orange Cake with Orange Glaze and a Special Citrus Twist!
🧡 The best recipe for orange cake!🧡 Tender, soft, and moist, this orange cake is a real treat! Packed with citrus flavor, it comes together quickly and easily.🍊 Here’s a special tip with the sugar and orange zest! Don’t skip this step! Rubbing the orange zest into the sugar helps release the oils from the zest and infuse them into the sugar, making the orange flavor even stronger.🍊 Make sure your eggs are at room temperature so they blend evenly into your batter without overmixing. If you forgot to take them out, quickly bring them to room temperature by placing them in a bowl and covering them with warm tap water for 5 minutes.🍊 Don’t overmix—this is why you don’t need a mixer for this recipe.🍊 Avoid making the glaze too thin, or it will slide right off the orange cake. Orange Peel & Chocolate Chip Brioche Orange Peel & Chocolate Chip Brioche
I made a whole bunch of candied orange peel from oranges so I decided to make a cake or bread! And since recently I really love chocolate with orange, I combined them both into a rich brioche dough to make a cake-like bread. You don't need to use a muffin tray; you can bake them in any shape or size you want. For the milk in brioche dough, the amount changes depending on the weight of the egg, so mix the ※ ingredients to make a total of 145g.If you don't have candied peel, you can use marmalade and chocolate chips. In that case, the dough will only be slightly sweet, so you can increase the amount of sugar if you want. The baking time and temperature should be adjusted to suit your own oven.
