  1. 1 cupSoaked chole
  2. 1 1/2 tbspGinger garlic paste
  3. 1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 2big onion
  5. 4 tomato paste
  6. as per taste Salt
  7. 1 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1 tspcumin seed
  9. as required Oil to fry butter
  10. 1tsp,garam masala powder
  11. as required Kasuri methi
  12. 2red chilli
  13. 1big Cardamom,
  14. as required crushed Dhania,
  15. 6Black pepper-
  16. 2cloves

Cooking Instructions

    Boid 1 cup Soaked chole with salt in a pressure cooker for 5 whistle.

    Add oil to the pan,add on a low flame,sabut garam masala,along with crushed dhania n black pepper,add sliced onion,n masala paste blended,once masala is done add tomato puree,salt,haldi, Mirchi powder,...fry it thoroughly. Now as oil oozes add the boiled chole along with two boiled potatoes.

    Then add 1/2 cup water....now prepare chaunk...first add half of jeera,sukhi Mirchi, kasuri methi,Mirchi powder,

    Add to chole and close lid,for 5 mins...now add half cumin seeds, raw to the chole,add garam masala powder,

    Serve with steamed rice,along with raita,salted rings of onion, sliced green chilli with lemon squeezed over it.....garnish with coriander leaves
