Cooking Instructions

Crush almonds, cashew nuts and pistachio nuts coarsely. Grind gond to a fine powder. Keep other things also ready.

Heat ghee in heavy bottom pan and add wheat flour to it. Mix it well and keep cooking on medium heat. Initially it will be bit solid but as it cooks it will loosen up. Cook it until it is aromatic with light brown colour.

Now and powdered gond to it and give it a good mix. Now add crushed dry fruits to it. Add raisins and melon seeds along with ginger powder and cardamom powder. Mix everything well.

Now add powdered sugar to it and mix it well and turn off the heat. Transfer the mixture to a big bowl.

When the mixture cools down a bit but still warm to touch, with the help of your hand make round or oblong pinnis and garnish it with a piece of almond.

Pinnis can be stored in an airtight container.
