Potato French Toast

Yesterday, I made Aloo paratha and the stuffing was left in the fridge. So today morning Nisha is having an online class and she asked me to make potato sandwich for her so she can have it in break. Well! unfortunately, only one slice of bread is left and her father also want to have in breakfast. I cut it i to 2 triangles, spread potato stuffed on the top of the slice dip it in egg and milk ( french toast batter) and tada 🎉 …. Serve both of them in breakfast 😊

Ingredients

  1. Potato stuffing (leftover in fridge)
  2. 4boiled potatoes (mashed)
  3. 1onion chopped
  4. 1green chili chopped
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. Less than 1/4 tsp chili powder
  7. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  8. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  9. 1 tbslemon juice
  10. Bread slice
  11. French toast batter
  12. 1 egg
  13. 3 tbsmilk
  14. For frying
  15. Oil

Cooking Instructions

    Mash potatoes and put chopped onion and chili. Add salt, chaat masala, zeera and little bit chili powder. Squeeze lemon and mix it well.

    Crack an egg and pour milk. Whisk it properly.

    Cut the slice into a triangle and spread the potato stuffing on the slice. Dip it in Egg milk (french toast) batter properly.

    Mean while heat up the pan with oil and put the dipped slice into oil. Start doing shallow frying. When one side turns into golden flip it to another side.

    Dish out when both sides are done. Serve with ketchup or any sauce. Enjoy your breakfasts😊
