Bahan-bahan

  1. 300 grchicken breast (diced)
  2. To marinate the chicken:
  3. 1/2 tspsalt (feel free to adjust to your taste)
  4. 1/2 tspgarlic powder (feel free to add more if you like it more garlicy)
  5. ground black pepper to taste
  6. Sauce
  7. 1 tbspgochujang sauce
  8. 1 tbsptomato sauce
  9. 1 tbspchilli sauce
  10. 1 tsphoney
  11. 1/2 tspvegetable oil
  12. Seasoned flour
  13. 1 tbspcorn flour
  14. 2 tbspplain flour
  15. 1/4 tspsalt
  16. 1 tspchilli powder (skip or add more to your taste)
  17. 1/4 tspmushroom seasoning powder (can be replaced with msg or with salt+sugar)
  18. To fry chicken:
  19. vegetable oil
  20. Garnish
  21. 1-2 tsptoasted sesame seeds

Cara Membuat

    Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Let it sit in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.

    Make the seasoned flour. Or use premix from the store.

    Add seasoned flour to the chicken. Mix well, then fry them well.
    Note: If you like a thicker-crispy outer, dip the chicken into wet batter and when frying, try to use more oil. I prefer lightly battered, so I don't use wet batter.

    Put fried chicken on paper towel (or drying rack--whichever is available at hand) to get rid of the oil.
    Meanwhile on low heat, add oil, gochujang sauce, tomato sauce, chilli sauce, chilli powder and honey. Mix well.

    Add in the chicken and mix well. Keep turning it every once in a while for around 3-5 minutes to ensure the sauces are well absorbed. Then put it in bowl/plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
