A fruity Kheer.
Generally we see only dry fruits in kheer. But I have tried adding fruit ( apple) and dry fruits to the classic sabudana kheer, topping with grilled Apple Slices.

A fruity Kheer.
Generally we see only dry fruits in kheer. But I have tried adding fruit ( apple) and dry fruits to the classic sabudana kheer, topping with grilled Apple Slices.
Cooking Instructions

Wash and soak sabudana for 4 hours.

In cooking, pan add milk. Keep it for boiling.

In soaked sabudana, add water and salt. Cook on slow flame till sabudana soften and transparent.

Peel and grate apple. Tranfer in another cooking pan. Saute till dry mixture is formed.

In boiled milk add cooked sabudana, sauted /grated apple, and mix well.

Add sugar and chopped dryfruits, and cardamom powder. Mix well and cook, stirring constantly till the mixture kheer thickened. Cool at room temperature. Chill in refrigerator till the time of serving.

To prepare grilled apple slices.. cut the apple into slices. Sprinkle castor sugar powder on it. Grilled on a griddle on both sides.

Serve/Relish Delicious Chilled Apple -Sabudana Kheer in an individual serving bowl garnishing with grilled Apple Slices.
