Sweet Gachas (Andalusian Porridge) Sweet Gachas (Andalusian Porridge)
Sweet gachas is a traditional dessert from Andalusia, usually enjoyed during All Saints' Day, but I love it all year round. The classic recipe uses wheat flour, but I'm making it the way my grandmother did, with half wheat flour and half cornstarch (cornflour), which makes it incredibly smooth and creamy. And with that touch of anise... so delicious! Every time I eat it, I remember when she used to make it for us. Here’s how to make it—it's easy and so tasty! To watch the video recipe, click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln_6BHF2A00 Belén "En Mi Salsa Cocina"Translated from Cookpad Spain -

This may look like a small portion, but it is VERY filling! You can buy fermented porridge in any leading supermarket in Kenya. I purchased mine from Uchumi.Miss Josefina
