Cooking Instructions
- 1
Measure out the water, make sure it's really cold (put it in the fridge if needed)
- 2
In a different container, start soaking the gelatin sheets so they go soft
- 3
Pour in the syrup and mix until the mixture is completely transparent and smooth.
- 4
Pour in the jell-o and mix again.
- 5
Crush up the vitamin c tablets into a powder and mix them in, this gives the gummies a nice sour taste!
- 6
Now take out the gelatin, squeeze out any excess water, and mix it all in a pot on medium heat.
- 7
After about 5-10 mins the gelatin should have dissolved, and you'll have a smooth, fruity syrup.
- 8
Put the syrup in the fridge for a bit, and you'll see that the foam and the clear syrup will start to separate, with the foam on top
- 9
After a few more mins the foam will harden allowing you to remove it with a fork. If it's still liquid leave it in the fridge some more. If you leave it too long the whole thing will harden, but don't worry, you can melt it again in the pot :)
- 10
With the foam gone, you should have a nice, uniformly transparent syrup left, which you can pour into a silicone mold.
- 11
Put in the fridge for a while and your gummies are ready!

Homemade Strawberry Gummies Homemade Strawberry Gummies
These are kind of a mix between gummies and fruit chews, but so much better for you with ingredients you control and these are so simple to make. I got my gummy bear molds on Amazon for pretty cheap, but this recipe is still completely doable without silicone molds (see step 5). It's fun to come up with different flavor combinations for homemade gummy snacks. You could also use 1 cup of 100% fruit juice instead of the strawberries. Just don't use pineapple or kiwi...they have enzymes that don't allow the gelatin to set properly. Recipe adapted from : Mind Over Munch @ YouTube Christina -

Chewy Gummies Easily Made in the Microwave Chewy Gummies Easily Made in the Microwave
I was thinking I could make easy gummies in the microwave. If you leave it in the fridge longer after it has hardened in Step 3, it will become hard. However, because it contains gelatin, it will soften again and become more "gummi-like" once you leave it out at room temperature. Recipe by AyakoOOOOO cookpad.japan -

Rooibos Tea and Coconut Milk Gummies Rooibos Tea and Coconut Milk Gummies
My friend found this recipe for gummy sweets and we decided to adapt and make it. No idea where she saw it originally. We used Rooibos tea which has a strong natural red pigment which resulted in a beautiful rusty brown colour. I would be interested to see which other types of tea work here.Edit: found the original. m.news24.com/food24/Recipes-and-Menus/LCHF-Recipes/LCHF-Rooibos-tea-gummies-20150622 AlienMonk -
