Ingredients

  1. 2 cupwater
  2. 1/2 cuplomg- grain rice
  3. 1 quartmilk
  4. 2egg yolks
  5. 2 cupsugar
  6. 1/2 tspsalt
  7. 1/2 tspvanilla
  8. 1ground cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    Bring water to a boil and rice.

    Simmer, covered, 15 to 20 min

  3. 3

    Add milk ( be careful does not boil over) and continue to cook , stirring often ,for @ 30 min,or until rice is soft and mixture is thick.

    Beat egg folks and sugar until thick and pale on color.

    Gradually stir in rice mixture, mix well, and return to saucepan

    Add salt cook over low heat for 3 min, stirring constantly to prevent curdling.

    Before pouring into pudding dishes add vanilla

  8. 8

    Pour into pudding dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Serve warm, or cool to room temperature and then refrigerate; serve cold
