cook chiken in olive oil until golden

while cooking add all of the spices

take the chicken out of the pan and shred

while shredding pour the herdez salsa into the pan and simmer

once chicken is shredded place chicken into the pan with the salsa

simmer until water is gone

put the mixture into tortillas and roll up

place tortillas into a buttered cooking dish

brush butter on top

place in oven on broil

once golden add cheese on top

take out of oven once cheese is bubbly

These are like taquitos but baked not fried. I used large flour tortillas, you can easily use corn or smaller size as you prefer. I prefer to make then filling one day then baked flautas as i eat them all week. Can also bake all then reheat the leftovers or eat cold. Do not advise to freeze after cooking.Suggest to serve with guacamole or salsa and yellow rice or citrus cabbage slaw. Great with beers or margs!! sartbu -
