Ingredients

  1. 1 cancrushed pineapples
  2. 2 cupblueberries (fresh, frozen, canned)
  3. 1 boxwhite/yellow cake mix- DRY
  4. 1 1/2 cuppecans or walnuts
  5. 2/3 cupbutter/margarine- MELTED

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    drain MOST of the the juice from pineapples and blueberries. (leave about 4 TBSP juice from each fruit)

  2. 2

    layer ingredients in the SAME order as listed above. make sure you add the cake mix DRY.

  3. 3

    Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

Was excited to try this. Love the idea of pineapple, blueberries and nuts. I used a pan just a little bit smaller than 13x9. It's very sweet much sweeter than I thought it would be and was mussy. What is the best size pan to use? Could that have been the reason ?
