Just a few ideas I wanted to share. Things used are mainly plastic toppers, some edible. Sugarcraft penguins were made by my neighbour Carol! Also I used edible glitter stars. Will post more sometime...

Just some ideas to make mother happy on her special day!

My son asked for a pirate ship for his birthday cake which was a bit out of the blue as I was expecting him to ask for Transformers or a Minion lol. I didn't have very long to prepare for it and I did make a few mistakes along the way but it looked ok in the end!

for the naysayers... I have no problem with people voicing opinion.. its exactly that.. an opinion.. say what u like about the cake.. I did it for good ol fashioned fun. lots of people love it.. and I had a blast making it. Kids had a blast eating it.. isn't that what its really about.. the kids and the fun of it? I made chicken breast to look like smokers lungs for dinner that night.. bloody bandaid snacks for snack.. we had a gross out day of food.. and they giggled; and laughed and ate it all up! To see them excited and having fun was worth more than I can ever mutter out.. and that my friend is why I posted that cake.. so I can share the joy and fun we had.. that's what this app is about! Sharing our family's fun and enjoyment of food no matter how bizarre it may seems to some.. thanks for at least looking at my recipe.. even bad publicity is good.. ;) and i cant wait to see other peoples kitty litter cake! :excited

This dessert is not for the faint hearted! It's packed full of butter (vegan of course), sugar and yes I did mean 2 tablespoons of cinnamon lol. It's definitely a treat to be enjoyed in moderation but it's so delicious I'm sure you'd be forgiven for having another slice....

I took advantage of buying A LOT of cherries half price with the intention of making jam but the kids asked for cake so......! You can use any soft fruit you prefer to make this dessert such as peaches, pears, raspberries etc

Easter always poses problems for people with allergies to things like dairy and soya, every holiday does really. I hate for my kids to miss out on any treats. I made these for the twins to take to their school nursery Easter Bonnet Parade as I know the after party will be full of goodies that Jack can't have but now he can have some lovely, chewy carrot cake cookies!
