Ingredients

  1. 1pork roast. bone in
  2. 500 mlcider (alcoholic and carbonated)
  3. 2 mediumapples, peeled, quartered then sliced 1 inch thick
  4. 2 tspminced garlic or 2 whole cloves, chopped
  5. 1 bunchoregano
  6. 2 pinchsalt
  7. 2 pinchcracked black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    heat slow cooker/crockpot.

    place 1/3 of the sliced apples into the bottom of your cooker.

  3. 3

    place pork roast on top

  4. 4

    combine all other ingredients and pour over the roast

  5. 5

    cover and cook for 8 hours on low

  6. 6

    meat should pull off the bone easily once cooked

  7. 7

    serve with baked potatoes and steamed veggies

  8. 8

    use any leftovers for sandwiches the next day

I added some of the cooking juices back after I shredded the pork. So tender and full of flavor!
