Wisconsin Badger Port Wine Cheese Spread

My Mom used to make this as one of the appetizers around Christmas and sometimes other holidays, or to give as a gift in a nice container. My friend and I make this for Badger games, football, basketball, and hockey, so we renamed the recipe.

Cheese Spread or Dip Cheese Spread or Dip
Party special.I wanted a cheese spread for crackers. Something easy, yet taste good. This recipe can be changed in many ways to meet your tastes. Chop some jalapenos, it's spicy. Use other cheeses, I love it with Swiss, Gruyère or Asiago. Any cheese with some flavor works very well. I would not consider this a dip, chips would crumble at the heavy texture. Fo Fa -

Quick and easy cheese spread that's good on crackers or in celery sticks. The measurements below are simply a guide. I never actually measure anything when making Jalapeño Cheese Spread (only for recording the recipe here); I toss it all into the food processor, blend to smooth, taste, and add more of whatever as desired. And that's the BEST way to do it!So, for your very first batch, blend together everything per the measurements below, taste and adjust to YOUR taste. Enjoy! Maggie Conlon -
