1egg
2 tbspolive oil
2 cupromano cheese
4 clovegarlics - minced
2 tspdried basil
2 tspdried parsley
1/2 tspsalt
1/2 tsppepper
1/3 cupbread crumbs
4 ozmozarella - cut into cubes and more for topping
3 cuppasta sauce

Cooking Instructions

45 mins

preheat the oven to 400°f/205°c

in large bowl, add ground meat, egg, oil, cheese, bread crumps, salt, pepper, dried basil and parsley. Mix to combine.

spray a large baking dish with non stick spray. add 2 cups of pasta sauce.

roll meat into golf ball size meatballs. press the mozarella cubes in, seal the meat around the cheese and set into the sauce. repeat until finish.

pour the last cup of pasta sauce and sprinkle additional mozarella cheese on top.

bake for 30-35 minutes. can be served with pasta or bread.

These are THE best meatballs. Period. People literally beg me for them. People offer to pay me for them. I make a lot, and it's never enough.They are time consuming. Make a lot. This recipe scales nicely.They are moist. They are delicious. You will not eat just one.They freeze really well. I put 6 plus sauce in quart freezer bags. Throw in a pot with lid on low heat for 45 or so minutes and you've got a super easy, super delicious meal.
