Ingredients

  1. apple filling option
  2. 1pink lady apples
  3. 3 tbspsugar and 2 tbsp water
  4. 1cinnamon stick (optional)
  5. 1 tsplemon juice
  6. 4 piecepuff pastry
  7. 1egg yolk (eggwash)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Dice the apple then put onto a pan with sugar,water, cinnamon stick (optional add on) and lemon juice Simmer for full 8 minutes till its soft and carmelized then off heat

    Spoon the cooked apple unto the pastry then shape it and baked it at 200C for 15 to 20 minutes, basting top with some egg wash

    WOVEN SQUARE APPLE PUFF PASTRY,,,On a puff pastry Spoon some apple filling then Slice another puff pastry into strip then over lapping into woven style then cover the apple filling and fold all 4 corner

can i use refrigerated biscuits in place of puff pastry in your recipes that call for puff pastries?
