  8. 24 ozRoast Beef, Thinly Sliced
  9. 4 sliceProvolone Cheese

Cooking Instructions

20 mins
  1. 1

Stir together broth, Worcestershire, soy sauce, onion, garlic, and mustard powder. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover and lightly simmer for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

Add roast beef to completed Au Jus Gravy and heat until heated through. Avoid overheating the roast beef.

  3. 3

Meanwhile, toast baguettes. Cut baguettes in half lengthwise on the sides. The sandwich stays together better when not completely cut in half.

Using tongs, fill baguettes with roast beef. Top with provolone cheese and broil or toast for 1-3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  5. 5

Serve hot with additional Au Jus Gravy on the side for dipping.

This recipe is now one of my favorites. Bloody expensive to make, though amazingly good. :)
