Air Fryer Roasted Chicken Breast
This recipe was a happy accident. I was about to cook a chicken breast to shred and use in a stew when I realized I didn't have fresh garlic and onions to boil it 😱😱. So, I decided to season it with spices, wrap it to keep it juicy, and it turned out great. That's how my air fryer saved the day. I didn't even shred it; it was so good that I just served it with a salad.

Roasted pumpkin soup
Pumpkin is one of the vegetables actually grown in Trinidad and Tobago and so when I wanted to make a dish that focuses on a product sourced from a local farm, pumpkin soup was the first idea to come. I love its creamy texture, versatility and that it's very easy to make a version that looks and tastes like a professional chef made it. Shallow-fry Breaded Fish
As a student whose family is not always home for dinner, i would have to cook/buy food on my own. When theres food at home, it would be good for me as i would be able to whip up dishes myself. If not, i would have to buy my own ingredients and cook dinner. So i came up with this recipe. The fish was 4$ for 600grams as it was bought frozen. I used panko breadcrumbs which was 3$ for a packet of about 5 cups. Everything else in the dish was either very cheap, or a staple at home. For this dish, i spent less than $10, and it comfortably fed me, my cousin and 3 friends. My original recipe was for 4, but i halved it here.

Easy Yakitori with a Skillet and Broiler
Thank you for the 40 reports! This is an easy yakitori recipe where you cook the chicken in a skillet without skewers, then finish it under the broiler to get that classic grilled look. My kids loved it and said it was delicious!Recipe background:When I went shopping, my youngest kept begging for yakitori—'Buy yakitori! I want yakitori!'—but since it's expensive to buy, I decided to make it myself (haha). Just cooking it in a skillet didn't give it that grilled look, so I tried finishing it under the broiler, and my kids were thrilled with the result!

SAUSAGE, POTATO, AND CORN CHOWDER
Its crockpot season …. My first soup of the season well chowder . Because potatoes are not cheap anymore i went to canned potatoes for my soups, it also cuts down the cooking times. When i made this i cut down my broth to 2 cups to cut down the recipe for 4 ppl so thats why it might not look the same when you made it. ( i was also low on my better than bouillon)
