Cooking Instructions

Slightly warm up the milk using a pot or microwave. (Just warm and not hot)

Pour the warm milk in a bowl and add the sugar and yeast, then stir, cover and keep in a warm place

After 30minutes the yeast most have began to swell and look foamy

Pour into a stand mixer and add eggs and butter then whisk on low speed

Slowly add the flour while whisking with a dough hook

Then mold and set on a floured table top

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 1/2 inches

Then cut using a floured donut cutter. Flour a tray and place cut donuts gently on the try

Coverup tray properly using a cling film so no air gets in until dough doubles in size

Then deep fry on very low heat turning from side to side until just golden brown

Place on a sieve to drain out oil

The most important tip is that this recipe should make 12 donuts, so be mindful rolling the dough out, simply roll it to a 1/2 inch thickness, no more otherwise the donuts will not be light and puffy.
