It's always fun to make our own ice cream. It's so simple, even the kids can make it...no machine required.

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Pour the cream and vanilla into a large bowl and use a hand mixer with the whisk attachment to whisk it on high speed until stiff peaks form.

  2. 2

Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and crushed oreos use a rubber spatula to gently fold everything together.

  3. 3

Pour out the mixture into a freezer safe container. I usually just use a loaf pan, which is the perfect size. I just line the loaf pan with plastic wrap, pour in the mixture, smooth the top, then wrap the plastic wrap tightly over the top.

  4. 4

Place it in the freezer for at least 8 hours. Then scoop it out to serve and enjoy!

I love to bake and to try out new recipes! I'm always on the lookout for simple dinners for busy weeknights. A lot of the recipes I post on here are ones I've found on Pinterest or from different bloggers, and that I've tried and really enjoyed, but I always reference to where I got the recipe from in the recipe description and the pictures are my own. If there's no source listed, then it's a rare recipe that I came up with. I have two wonderful kids and I hope to pass on my love of cooking and baking to them.
