Minced Meat with Basil (Pad Kra Pao Gai)

Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlMinced Pork Meat
  2. 1 bunchBasil leaves
  3. 4Red Chillies (sliced)
  4. 5 cloveGarlic (minced)
  5. 2shallots (thinly sliced)
  6. 1 handfulfrench beans
  7. 1 tbspdark soya sauce
  8. 2 tbspfish Sauce (GF)
  9. 0.5 tbspsugar
  10. ----------

Cooking Instructions

    In a wok, add garlic, shallots and chilies in and cook for about 20 seconds.(no need to use any oil).

    Add meat in and cook until they turn browny.

  3. 3

    Add dark soya sauce and fish sauce. Stir fry for another 30 seconds. Add french beans in.

    Add sugar in.

  5. 5

    Once cooked, turn off the heat, and add basil leaves in.

  6. 6

    Done. Serve with rice and a fried egg on it.

Living in Dublin with my Irish partner who is celiac. My recipes are Gluten Free (GF). Most of my recipes are Asian food and I use soya sauce a lot in them. Regular soya sauce is not GF, but you can get GF one from supermarkets.
