Ingredients

8 modak.
  1. 1 cupbesan
  2. 1/2 cupdesi ghee
  3. 3/4 cupsugar
  4. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  5. For filling--
  6. 1/2 cupmava
  7. 1 tbspsugar (powdered)
  8. as neededSome chopped dry fruits

Cooking Instructions

    First heat a pan add crumbled mawa and roast for a min..Add sugar and dry fruits...Mix... Switch off the flame..And let it cool.

    In same pen heat ghee add besan..And roast till golden brown...switch the flame off...and Let it cool..Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder...And again leave for few minutes (10-15min.)

    Now take some portion of besan mixture...Make a ball... Spread on palm and stuff the mawa mixture inside it.

    Close or cover it nicely

    Set it in a modak mould...And prepare all modak in same way.
