Goes really well with homemade fries!

I was trying to get my husband to eat less red meat and more ground turkey, he actually thought these were made with beef! YEAY!

I was looking for something that used chicken livers, and this seemed like a good choice. So far, it is. The meatballs can be used in many different things.I must add a disclaimer at this point. I suck at forming, and making attractive meatballs, but it usually doesn't affect taste. So although not the perfect spheres, they still taste great. And i like that meatballs can be used in many different ways.

I like to use mix of beef and pork mince meet, but you can use any.

A family favorite

My gram being full blooded Italian made THE best meatballs ever . If she saw me making goat she would scream lol. I love all varieties of these delicious morsels.

I found this recipe somewhere, and I use it all the time for meatball marinara or drunken meatballs.

I remember as a kid growing up every Sunday having mom's meatballs. There were always the best. Other families did all sorts of mixtures of different meats and seasonings but my mom's was always the best. Sharing our little family Italian history in this recipe.
