Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsoaked Moong Bean
  2. 2medium sized onion
  3. 2medium sized tomatoes
  4. 2green chillies
  5. 1lemon
  6. 1 tbspoil
  7. 1 tbspcumin seeds
  8. 1 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tbspred chilli powder
  10. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  11. 1 tspchaat masala
  12. 1 1/2 tbsp / to tastesalt
  13. 1 cupwater

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the soaked mung bean thoroughly and pressure cook in 1 cup water.Add 1 tsp salt.Just after one whistle switch off the flame.Let it cool down.Finely chop onion,tomatoes and green chillies.

    Heat a heavy bottomed pan or kadhai and add oil to it.Add cumin seeds.When they start to crackle add all dry spices.Add salt.Now add the pressure cooked Mung and mix well.Cover it with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes on low flame.

    Squeeze a lemon,add chaat masala and chopped onion,tomatoes and green chillies.Garnish with fresh coriander.Transfer to the serving plate.Sprinkle some bhujiya sev on top and enjoy the yummy chaat salad.
