Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgTinde
  2. 2Onion chopped
  3. 7 clovesGarlic grated
  4. few pieceGinger small grated
  5. 3Tomatoes puree
  6. 1-2Green chill
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1 spoonRed chilli powder
  9. 1 spoonTurmeric powder
  10. 1.5 spoonCoriander powder
  11. 1/3 spoonAmchoor powder
  12. 1 spoonKasturi methi
  13. as neededCoriander leaves for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Buy small Tindas for this recipe. Peel them and insert slits. Cuts should not be too deep. Mix all dry spices and stuff your tindas reserve the rest dry spice for the gravy.

    In a pressure cooker take oil and add onion with ginger and garlic. Sauté them till you see light brown colour and now add the dry spice mix to onion, mix well and after few seconds add tomato purée. Mix well and let it cook till oil separates at the corners. Now add Kasturi methi and stuffed tinde to it. Add half glass water and put the lot on for 3 whistles on medium low flame.

    Let it cool down open the vessel and check seasonings and adjust according to taste. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
