Ginger Lemonade

Lemonade is a simple beverage characterized by it's lemon flavour. The main ingredients consist of lemon juice, sugar and water. I have made it with a ginger twist. This homemade lemonade is more delicious and healthier than that of the lemonade available in the market.

Lemonade is a simple beverage characterized by it's lemon flavour. The main ingredients consist of lemon juice, sugar and water. I have made it with a ginger twist. This homemade lemonade is more delicious and healthier than that of the lemonade available in the market.
Cooking Instructions

In a small pan take 1 cup of water. Add sugar and ginger. Bring the mixture to a boil. Stir until sugar dissolves.

Remove from the heat and strain the syrup through a fine sieve set over a bowl. Allow cooling to room temperature.

In a pitcher combine the cooled syrup, lemon juice and remaining water. Stir the lemonade well. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.

Transfer the lemonade to serving glasses. Add ice cubes with lemon slices and serve chilled.
